Lee-Scott Academy
What: I had the privilege of visiting Lee Scott Academy to read How Mae Got Moxie to the entire student body. Together we explored the power of kindness, courage, and discovering the unique gifts that make each of us who we are. Students also learned how one small act of kindness can create a ripple effect that reaches far beyond themselves.

Why:Ā Auburn will always hold a special place in my heart because it's where I attended college and discovered so much about who I wanted to become. Returning to share How Mae Got Moxie with the students at Lee Scott Academy felt like coming full circle. My hope was to encourage each child to embrace who they are, choose kindness every day, and believe that even the smallest acts of courage and compassion can make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
