What:Ā One of the very first Moxie events took place in my personal art studio, where our team invited a multi-aged group of children to help field-test the heart card experience. Together, they painted, created, and shared heart cards while we observed how children of different ages naturally connected through creativity and acts of kindness.

Why:Ā Before sharing the heart card project with schools and communities, we wanted to ensure it was simple, meaningful, and engaging for children of all ages. This workshop became more than a testā€”it was proof that creativity is a universal language. Watching children encourage one another, express themselves through art, and delight in creating something for someone else affirmed our belief that kindness can be taught, practiced, and joyfully shared. It laid the foundation for what would become the Moxie heart card movement.
