How Books Are Made
By opening the doors to the printing press, I wanted students to see that every finished book begins with an idea, a first draft, and people willing to keep creating even when it's hard.
My hope is that they leave believing their own ideas matterβand that with creativity, perseverance, and the help of others, they can bring them to life.
Students stepped behind the scenes at Rocky Heights Printing & Binding to experience the incredible journey of a bookβ from a simple idea to a finished copy they could hold in their hands.
They learned how words, illustrations, printing, binding, and teamwork all come together to transform creativity into something real.
